2011 Books for Hailey - A Project of Inspiration

Help the teachers and students help Hailley P. by purchasing your copy of “Hailley and the Green Giant.” Each book sold will help Hailley pay for medical expenses. This book will inspire children and adults never to give up when the odds are down. The story is told from the perspective of two kind teddy bears that dream about Hailley beating the Giant right out of town. The title is co-authored by Gerri Field with well-known children’s author Jason S. Lynch. The site will have updates as the book develops and other fundraising events. Make Your Own Teddy Bear Party $ 8.00 per bear by E.G. Bear Company

About 100 bears will be available.

Raffle for a 7 FOOT handmade teddy bear Concessions to be served and fun learning activities. Adults admitted for free. Books can be ordered also at the event. April 9, 2011 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm At Mineral Wells School Cafeteria

All money raised will help the students meet their goal of selling 2011 Books for Hailley.

History of 2011 Books for Hailley Project

This project began with the parents, friends, teachers from Mineral Wells School in Mineral Wells, WV contacting well-known author Jason S. Lynch. Lynch, the staff, and children set on a mission to help the inspirational Hailley P. from their school. The group hopes to sell over 2011 of their children's book "Hailley and the Green Giant.” to help Hailley pay for medical expenses. In most cases, the books will be donated to other schools, churches, or civic groups. This book will inspire children and adults never to give up when the odds are down. The story is told from the perspective of two kind teddy bears that dream about Hailley beating the Giant right out of town. The title is co-authored by Gerri Field with well-known children’s author Jason S. Lynch.
